Duration: 60 minutes
Prerequisites: 3D modeling (CAD)
This module introduces 3D printing for rapid prototyping, a tool to improve solution design by iterative upgrades. You'll learn the basics of fused deposition modeling as it is the most common 3D printing technology for prototyping. Following the steps of designing for 3D printing, slicing for FDM, machine preparation, printing troubleshooting to applying post-processes to your parts, you'll know everything about creating functional prototypes to help you guide your designing journey. Developed by FabAdd-Académie and EPF engineering school, funded by the European Union.
